More Frisco moves than anywhere else in North Texas involve a home that did not exist eighteen months ago. That changes the planning. Builder walkthroughs slip, certificates of occupancy land late, and a closing date that looked firm in March becomes a moving target in June.

We schedule new-construction moves with that reality built in rather than pretending it away:

• We hold a tentative date and confirm 48–72 hours out, once your builder walkthrough and funding are actually done.
• If the certificate of occupancy slips, the load can go into climate-controlled storage overnight or for as long as you need instead of sitting on a truck.
• Floor, stair, and door-jamb protection goes down on brand-new finishes before the first item comes through — new hardwood and unsealed stone mark easily.
• Appliance delivery, cable, and furniture-store deliveries often stack on the same day; we coordinate our arrival window around them so the driveway is not a bottleneck.

Gated and Master-Planned Community Access

Stonebriar is a Frisco moving company. Starwood is one gated neighborhood we move, not a separate brand and not a guide to the community itself. Phillips Creek Ranch, Newman Village, Starwood, The Trails, and the communities around Stonebriar and Legacy West each run their own access rules. Guard gates need crew names and vehicle information in advance. Some HOAs restrict truck size, staging on the street, or the hours a commercial vehicle can be on site.

We ask for those rules during the estimate, not on move morning. If your community requires a certificate of insurance or advance notice to the management office, we handle that paperwork before the date so nobody is negotiating with a gate attendant while the crew waits.

Corporate Relocations Into Frisco

Frisco's corporate growth means a steady share of our work is people relocating for a job rather than moving across town. Those moves come with different pressure: a start date that will not move, a temporary rental before a permanent home, and often a spouse coordinating from another state.

When to Book, and What Frisco's Moving Season Actually Looks Like

Frisco's calendar is driven by the school year. Late May through early August is the compressed window when most families with children move, and Fridays and month-end weekends in that window fill first — often three to four weeks out.

If your dates are flexible, a mid-month weekday in that same season is easier to book and the crew is not fighting a queue of other move-ins at the same apartment community or new-build street. If they are not flexible, book early and give us the constraint; we would rather plan around a hard date than discover it late.
